Dispute Policy
Last Updated: April 5, 2026
Chion Konsults Digital provides a structured dispute process to help resolve certain disagreements between clients and professionals in a fair, evidence-based, and platform-controlled manner.
This Dispute Policy explains when a dispute may be opened, how a dispute may be reviewed, what information may be considered, and what actions Chion Konsults Digital may take to protect marketplace integrity.
1. Introduction
Because Chion Konsults Digital supports service listings, order flows, workspace communication, uploaded deliverables, and escrow-backed payment operations, disagreements may sometimes arise between clients and professionals.
Our dispute process is designed to provide a controlled way to review those disagreements using platform records and relevant evidence.
2. Purpose of the Dispute Process
The purpose of the dispute process is to help resolve eligible order-related disagreements where the client and professional are unable to resolve the matter directly in good faith.
The dispute process exists to protect marketplace fairness, review evidence objectively, support legitimate payment and release decisions, reduce fraud, abuse, and manipulation, and preserve trust in the platform.
3. When a Dispute May Be Opened
A dispute may be opened where the platform supports it and where a genuine project-related disagreement exists between the parties.
Disputes may generally be opened in connection with non-delivery, materially incomplete delivery, work that significantly departs from the agreed scope, disagreement over completion status, disagreement over release of escrow-backed funds, suspected misuse of order or workspace processes, or delivery or approval issues supported by platform records.
4. Issues That May Qualify
Examples of issues that may qualify for review include a client paying for a service and not receiving meaningful delivery, a professional delivering work while the client refuses reasonable acknowledgment without good cause, work submitted appearing materially incomplete relative to the agreed listing or confirmed scope, platform records showing conflicting claims about delivery, completion, or approval, or evidence of fraud, misrepresentation, or abusive conduct affecting the transaction.
Whether a matter qualifies will depend on the facts, evidence available, and platform judgment.
5. Issues That May Not Qualify
Not every disagreement qualifies for a formal dispute outcome. Examples of issues that may not qualify include simple preference disputes where the delivered work substantially matches the agreed scope, dissatisfaction caused by unclear client instructions not attributable to platform or professional misconduct, requests for extra work outside the original scope, attempts to reverse a valid transaction after meaningful value was received, complaints unsupported by evidence, or issues raised too late after the platform's reasonable review window where applicable.
Chion Konsults Digital may refuse or limit dispute handling where a claim is weak, unsupported, abusive, or outside the intended dispute framework.
6. Expected Good-Faith Communication Before Escalation
Before escalating a matter into a formal dispute, both parties are expected to make a reasonable good-faith effort to resolve the issue directly through the workspace, order page, or platform messaging flow.
Users should explain the problem clearly, respond within a reasonable time, avoid threats, abuse, or manipulation, identify the specific issue in dispute, and attempt practical resolution where possible. If a user refuses reasonable communication or acts abusively, that behavior may be considered during review.
7. Time of Dispute Submission
Disputes should be raised within a reasonable time after the issue becomes known. Where platform workflows define review windows, delivery windows, completion status windows, or escrow-related timing conditions, users are expected to act within those operational timelines.
Delay in raising a dispute may affect the platform's ability to review evidence fairly.
8. Information and Evidence That May Be Reviewed
When reviewing a dispute, Chion Konsults Digital may consider any relevant evidence available through the platform or submitted during the dispute process, including service listing terms, scope descriptions, pricing and delivery commitments, order records, workspace messages, uploaded attachments, submitted deliverables, timestamps, completion records, payment and escrow workflow records, account activity patterns, and relevant trust or moderation signals.
The platform may also consider whether either party acted in good faith throughout the transaction.
9. Workspace and Platform Record Priority
Where a dispute involves conflicting verbal claims, Chion Konsults Digital may give substantial weight to records available through the platform itself.
This includes workspace history, uploaded files, order details, approved or submitted milestones, timestamps, delivery records, payment-related states, and prior communications through official platform channels. Users are strongly encouraged to keep important transaction communication inside the platform wherever possible.
10. Temporary Payment and Escrow Handling During Review
During a dispute review, Chion Konsults Digital may temporarily pause, hold, delay, or restrict payment release, withdrawal eligibility, refund handling, or related transaction movement where necessary to preserve fairness and protect marketplace integrity.
This may include holding funds pending evidence review, delaying payout release, preventing premature withdrawal, or restricting final settlement until a dispute outcome is reached. These actions are platform safeguards and do not by themselves determine the final result of the dispute.
11. User Cooperation Requirements
Users involved in a dispute are expected to cooperate honestly and promptly. This includes responding to requests for clarification, submitting truthful evidence, avoiding deletion or manipulation of relevant records, respecting review timelines where provided, and refraining from harassment, pressure tactics, or repeated bad-faith escalation.
Failure to cooperate may affect how the platform assesses credibility and may influence the final outcome.
12. Platform Review Standards
Chion Konsults Digital reviews disputes using a fairness-oriented, evidence-based standard. The platform may consider whether the agreed scope was reasonably clear, whether work was materially delivered, whether the delivered work substantially matches what was promised, whether the client acted reasonably in reviewing the work, whether the professional acted reasonably in performing the service, whether either side engaged in fraud, abuse, avoidance, or manipulation, and whether a partial, full, or no refund or release is justified.
The platform may use reasonable judgment where the record is incomplete, conflicting, or affected by user misconduct.
13. Possible Outcomes
Following review, Chion Konsults Digital may take one or more actions it considers fair and appropriate, including full release of funds to the professional, full refund to the client, partial release and partial refund, cancellation of the order where justified, closure of the dispute without refund, account warnings or restrictions, listing moderation or trust enforcement actions, or other reasonable marketplace actions.
The outcome will depend on the evidence, transaction history, user conduct, and platform judgment.
14. Partial Release and Partial Refund Situations
In some cases, a dispute may involve partially completed work, partially accepted value, or mixed responsibility. In such situations, Chion Konsults Digital may determine that part of the funds should be released for work already delivered, part of the funds should be refunded, or the order record should be closed with a split outcome.
Partial outcomes may be used where they better reflect the actual value delivered and the fairness of the situation.
15. Fraud, Abuse, and Bad-Faith Claims
Users must not misuse the dispute system. Bad-faith conduct may include filing knowingly false disputes, misrepresenting delivery or approval history, attempting to obtain free work after receiving value, attempting to extort payment or refund, submitting altered, misleading, or incomplete evidence, colluding to manipulate dispute outcomes, or using disputes as harassment rather than legitimate resolution.
Where such conduct is suspected, the platform may deny the dispute, restrict the account, hold funds for further review, or take additional enforcement action.
16. Failure to Participate in a Dispute
If one party fails to respond, refuses to cooperate, or abandons the dispute process, Chion Konsults Digital may proceed based on the evidence available.
A user's failure to participate does not guarantee an adverse outcome, but it may reduce the weight of that user's position where relevant information is not provided.
17. Finality of Platform Decisions
To maintain consistency, trust, and platform order, Chion Konsults Digital may treat a dispute decision as final within the platform environment once review is completed.
This means the platform may close the dispute and proceed with the selected outcome, including fund release, refund handling, account restrictions, or related enforcement action. Nothing in this policy prevents actions required by law, but users acknowledge that the platform must retain authority to make practical final decisions for internal marketplace operation.
18. Related Account or Trust Enforcement
A dispute may also lead to related trust or enforcement measures where appropriate. These may include warnings, listing restrictions, visibility limitations, moderation actions, payment holds, temporary suspensions, verification review, or permanent account restrictions in serious cases.
Dispute conduct, not just dispute outcome, may influence trust and safety decisions.
19. Policy Updates
Chion Konsults Digital may update this Dispute Policy from time to time to reflect operational changes, risk controls, legal requirements, or improvements to marketplace governance.
When updates are made, the revised version may be posted with an updated effective date and, where appropriate, communicated through the platform or by email.
